How to install ProteMac NetMine?

1.Download ProteMac NetMine from http://www.protemac.com/NetMine/
 2.Run the ProteMac-NetMine.dmg file from the desktop, or download location.
3.In The ProteMac NetMine window, double click the install.pkg file.
4.Follow the prompts to install the program.
5.After installation you may delete the ProteMac-Netmine.dmg file from your desktop.
NetMine is installed and ready to use. The NetMine program is controlled through the Preferences Panel on your Mac.
Immediately after installation, NetMine is running and monitoring all incoming and outgoing network traffic on your Mac.

How can I specify the NetMine’ activity by default?

1.Open the System Preferences panel on your Mac by selecting the Apple icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen and selecting System Preferences.
2.In the last section of Preferences Icons, under Other, you will find the NetMine Icon. Click the icon to open the NetMine control panel.
3.The NetMine Preferences window lets you specify the rules by default for all applications on your Mac that aren’t enlisted in the main window.



 

Where may I enable NetMine’s activity by default?

1.Open the System Preferences panel on your Mac by selecting the Apple icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen and selecting System Preferences.
2.In the last section of Preferences Icons, under Other, you will find the NetMine Icon. Click the icon to open the NetMine control panel.
3.A check in the Enable Firewall check box activates NetMine. If this box is not checked, NetMine is not monitoring or controlling the activities of your programs.




How to launch NetMine?

To start NetMine, go to the Applications folder on your Mac and click NetMine’s icon. In the window appeared you may specify the application, its address and port, as well as the time limit for the NetMine’s activity.
 

Where can I allow / deny Internet or Network communication for a specific application?

1.Go to the Applications folder on your Mac and click NetMine’s icon.
2.In the appeared window you may add or remove Application, IP Adress and Port that will be indicated in the table above using + or – buttons correspondingly.
3.Select the Action to Allow or Deny Internet or Network communication.

How can I set the Time Period for NetMine’s activity?

1.Go to the Applications folder on your Mac and click NetMine’s icon.
2.In the main window appeared, specify the Limitation to set the time period for NetMine’s activity.
    a. Choose Until Quit and NetMine activates till the end of the Internet or network connection.
    b. To activate NetMine every time the Internet or Network connection is established, select Forever.


How to register ProteMac Netmine?

In the main window (go to Applications and double-click ProteMac NetMine icon) click the registration buton to enter your registration name and key . For that purpose copy regname and regcode from email without blanks before and after reginfo. Paste copied info to open window and press Register button. To end this operation, hit OK button. Once you have regitered the software, the Registration button doesn't appear anymore.

I have allowed the network and Internet connection to the application. Why does NetMine deny the access to this application?

If there is at least one rule that denies this connection, the connection will be blocked later.


I have set the rule to Allow the access to the application, but the another rules have ben added.What happened?

This application might have several instances. Every instance has its own rules.
 

The application has Internet and network connections, however, it isn't in the list. Why?

Perhaps, this application is one of the operating softwares that are essential for system operation.


Can you tell me how I can uninstall the NetMine? And remove it totally from my system.
